Kelly Reed (formerly i.e. kokoro) draws from years of classical training and orchestral performance to inform her music, and has been writing and performing as a multi-instrumentalist in bands since 2012. With crafted lyrics and thoughtful compositions, she crafts sonic landscapes that explore universal experiences of what it means to be human. Self-describing her music as “genre-unconcerned,” Kelly’s unique style has been likened to artists such as Emily Haines, Susanne Sundfør, Sufjan Stevens, and Cat Power.
